 Career interests and academic development begin as early as elementary school, where students are first introduced to a variety of career pathways. As they grow and gain a deeper understanding of their strengths and passions, they begin to refine those interests. Middle school plays a pivotal role in this journey, offering students the opportunity to further explore their interests through elective choices. In many school districts, middle schoolers can even begin earning high school credits in subjects like Math, Science, and Languages Other Than English (LOTE).
