As the child of an immigrant family, I had to navigate the college admissions process largely on my own. The American educational system can be complex — and it often varies greatly from one state to another. During my undergraduate years at the University of Houston, I realized that many students from immigrant families faced the same challenges I did.
That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to helping students and families confidently navigate the academic and college planning process.
In 2016, I earned my Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University, and since then, I have been passionate about supporting students as they plan for their futures. I find immense fulfillment in seeing the relief on parents’ faces when they know they have a trusted partner to guide them through an unfamiliar, and often times, complicated system.
